What condo cleaning costs in Toronto in 2026
Condos are the most predictable thing we clean and the easiest to price, which is why we can publish the numbers rather than ask you for a postcode first.
A one bedroom condo is $169 for a one-off standard clean and $144 every two weeks. Those are our published flat rates and the rest of this page explains what sits behind them.
The useful thing to understand about condo pricing is that it is not scaled-down house pricing. A 600 square foot unit and a 900 square foot unit with the same one bathroom cost almost the same to clean, because the work is in the bathroom and the kitchen rather than the floor.

Move-out cleans run higher again, roughly two thirds more than a standard clean, because an empty unit means inside every cupboard, closet and appliance.
Why a condo is not just a small house
Per square foot, condos are the most expensive thing in the city to clean, and that surprises people until you look at where the hours go.
A three bedroom house has more floor, but floor is fast. What takes time is fixtures: toilets, showers, glass, taps, hobs, sinks. A 700 square foot one bedroom has one of almost everything, and a 2,000 square foot house has two or three. So the price gap between them is much smaller than the size gap.
- Bathrooms dominate. One bathroom in a condo is the same work as one bathroom in a house.
- Kitchens do not shrink. A galley kitchen has the same hob, sink and fronts as a large one, in less space.
- Glass and hard water. Condo showers are usually glass, and Toronto water leaves a film on it that takes real time to remove.
- Balconies. Common in condos, absent in the price unless you add them, and genuinely dirty in a downtown building.
Where the price stops falling
Worth being straight about, because people with small units ask. Below a certain size the price flattens out. A studio and a one bedroom are the same number for us, because both have one bathroom and one kitchen, and those two rooms are the job.
There is also a floor under everything: no clean is priced below our minimum, whatever the unit. Someone travelling to your building, cleaning properly and travelling back has a cost that does not fall to nothing just because the unit is small.
If you have a very small studio and the number still feels high for the space, the honest answer is that you are not buying square footage, you are buying a bathroom and a kitchen done properly.

Most Toronto quotes are shown before 13 percent HST is added, so ask each company which side of tax their figure is on before you compare two of them. Prices move, so treat theirs as indicative and confirm before you buy.
The pattern in that table is the same one you will find yourself: most condo cleaning companies in Toronto will not quote a price until you have given them your details. That is a choice, not a technical limitation.
The frequency maths on a small unit
Recurring discounts matter more in a condo than in a house, because the base number is smaller and the visits are closer together.
A one bedroom at $169 one-off drops to $144 every two weeks. That is 26 visits a year at $3,744, against 26 one-off visits at $4,394. The saving is real, and the unit genuinely stays clean rather than swinging between spotless and neglected.
The other thing recurring buys in a small unit is speed. A condo cleaned every two weeks never needs a deep clean again, which is the expensive visit.
What is usually extra
Condo-specific things that are not part of a standard clean anywhere in Toronto, including here.
- Interior windows. Floor to ceiling glass is common in Toronto condos and is a job in itself.
- Inside the oven and fridge. The two most common silent exclusions when you compare quotes.
- In-suite laundry. Wiping the machines is standard; washing and folding is an add-on.

Access is the part that actually goes wrong
Price is the easy half of booking a condo clean. Getting a cleaner into a Toronto building is the half that causes the problems: concierge policies, key handling, elevator rules, quiet hours and whether your corporation wants a certificate of insurance before anyone works in the unit.
